Train Grains
Train Grains is a Max for Live granular midi synthesizer based on Curtis Roads' description of "trainlets" in Microsound (2001).
Use Train Grains to create jittering granular melodies, dense clouds of noise, rhythmic clicks, and more.
"Chroma" controls the spectral brightness of each trainlet grain
"Duration" controls the length of each grain
"Density" controls the average number of grains per second
"Jitter" controls the rhythmic asynchronicity of the granulator
"Width" controls the amount of random stereo field motion of each grain
Train Grains is midi polyphonic up to eight voices.
